Admission in Mahindra University, Hyderabad depends on the performance of the candidates in the JEE examination. This can very every year depending on the participation of the students and their merit. However, JEE alone is not the criteria for admissions in B.Tech courses. Previous year qualifying marks or even the SAT/ ACT score cards can also suffice. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JOSAA) conducts counseling for the shortlisted candidates utilizing their All- India Rank. The counselling is provided during each round of seat distribution.

For B.Tech admissions at Mahindra University, Hyderabad you need to have a competitive score in JEE (Mains) and should be eligible to write JEE (Advanced) or you should have Top All India Rank in JEE (Mains). Besides that, a candidate is eligible to enroll for B.Tech. courses if they have at least 60 % or above in class 10^th from a recognised board/ university. If a student could not sit for JEE/ SAT/ ACT, they are still eligible for admission if they have 80% or above marks in class 12^th.

Mahindra University, Hyderabad, in partnership with Cornell SC Johnson College of Business in USA and Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany provides the 2- year executive MBA course for experienced executives or business owners with more than 5 years of work experience. Admissions to the course begins every year on September and can take up to 2-3 rounds of selection. This year, the application deadline for the 3^rd round of admissions was 15^th September, 23 and the results were announced on 20^th September, 23. The admissions are now closed for the current year.
