A pass in Diploma in Engineering in any branch/ discipline of three-year duration with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for BTech (LE) course. Candidates who have passed BSc degree with at least 50% aggregate and passed Class 12 with Mathematics as a subject can also apply. The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 4.4 lakh- INR 13.4 lakh at Manav Rachna University. Students have to pay the intial amount after selection rounds to block a seat at the university's programme. The lower amount in the range if of BTech (Hons) Mechanical and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The fees is high for BTech CSE and new-age specialisations, such as AI, Robotics & AI.

The selection to BTech course at Manav Rachna University is based on MRNAT score. MRNAT is a national-level entrance examination conducted every year. MRNAT is an objective type online-based entrance test of 90 minutes duration with questions from the syllabus covered in the qualifying exam. Manav Rachna University also accepts scores in JEE Main, SAT, etc. Aspirants can also appear for MRST conducted as an alternative exam by the university for admission.

In case the seat remain vacant after filling it based on JEE Main scores, the university considers qualifying exam scores for the remaining seats.
