No, Manav Rachna University (MRU) is a state-private university. MRU is part of the Manav Rachna Educational Institutions and was established as Manav Rachna College of Engineering in 2004. The Manav Rachna College of Engineering eventually got evolved into the Manav Rachna University, as we recognise it today. MRU is located in Faridabad, Haryana, and offers several courses at the UG, PG, and PhD levels. The university conducts its entrance exam known as MRNAT, and also accepts national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, CUET UG, CLAT, etc., for admission to its various courses.

Yes, Manav Rachna University is a recognised university and has been accredited by different organisations. It is a UGC-recognised university, which offers several courses across various streams such as law, technology, management, and others. All the courses offered at the university are approved by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Manav Rachna University also offers AICTE-approved engineering programmes.

The consolidated MBA placement report 2026 is not released by MRU. However, as per the limited available, highest package offered during MRU MBA placements 2025 was INR 10.5 LPA. The package was offered by Thomson Digital.

Manav Rachna University has disclosed the placement details of BTech CSE branch on its official website. According to which, the top recruiters of Manav Rachna University included Paloalto, American Express, Amadeus, Wipro, Capgemini, Genpact, Coforge, TCS, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, etc. The new-age job roles include Project Engineer, Analyst, Technical Trainee, QA Engineer (Automation Testing), Senior Associate, Software Engineer Trainee, etc. Further, the highest package offered during Manav Rachna University placements in recent past was INR 60 LPA.
