MRST is Manav Rachna Screening Test conducted by the university. It is an alternative test for candidates without scores in MRNAT or any other national-level entrance exams. It is a 45 minute test for UG courses and 60 minutes for PG courses, conducted in online/ offline mode. The test is valid for most of the UG and PG courses.

Manav Rachna University, Faridabad is considered a decent, Tier-2 private institution featuring great infrastructure and a supportive faculty, though it draws mixed reviews regarding return on investment. 

It is a UGC-recognised university and has been accredited by the NAAC A Grade and NBA (BTech CSE). The university has been ranked in the band of 201-300 by the NIRF 2025 in the BTech category. Talking about the placements, the overall the highest package offered during MRU BTech placements 2025 was INR 60 LPA.

Manav Rachna University BSc admissions are determined based on the score obtained by students in the entrance test. The MRU accepts MRNAT scores for taking admissions. Students must appear in MRNAT exam and earn valid marks. Along with this, students have to clear the interview round too to get selected.
