A pass in Diploma in Engineering in any branch/ discipline of three-year duration with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for BTech (LE) course. Candidates who have passed BSc degree with at least 50% aggregate and passed Class 12 with Mathematics as a subject can also apply. Candidates must prove their eligibility during the verification process to avoid rejection at later stages of admission. The selection to BTech (LE) course will be based on MRNAT score. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The total annual fee for BTech (lateral entry) ranges between INR 4.84 Lacs and INR 7.32 lakh. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats in the university. The fee will vary as per the specialisation selected by the candidates.

The tution fee for BTech course ranges between INR 4.96 lakh- INR 6.88 lakh. Aspirants are required to pay the course fee after completion of all the selection rounds to confirm their seats in the university.  The fee for BTech specialisations is different as the course is in collaboration with industry and includes the training fee of knowledge partners. In case, a candidate is unable to pay the fee within the specified time, his or her admission will stand cancelled. Aspirants will also need to pay a registration fee to apply for admission. The application fee for each course is INR 1,200. Candidates can pay the registration fee via any of the online payment mode. After getting admission in the university, students need to pay yearly fee as per the deadline specified to avoid additional charges.

The selection to BTech course is based on MRNAT score. MRNAT is a national-level entrance examination that is conducted every year for the students seeking admission to the university. MRNAT is an objective type online-based entrance test of 90 minutes duration with questions from the syllabus covered in the qualifying exam. Manav Rachna University also accepts scores of SAT India. The merit of the candidates in the last qualifying exam is also considered for admission. All the shortlisted candidates, who receive admission offer letter from the university shall be required to send the acceptance of admission for the offered course in the format which shall be sent by the university authority along with the letter. After completion of the selection rounds, the shortlisted candidates are called for verification of the documents

 BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. Manav Rachna University offers BTech in four major specialisations, namely Computer Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication and Robotics and Artificial Intelligence. Under CSE, students can get the BTech (Hons) in Computer Science & Engineering with specialisations in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, FullStack Development and Cyber Security & Threat Intelligence by earning additional 18-20 credits in the given particular domain as per provision prescribed by the AICTE. Under Mechanical Engineering course, Mechanical Engineering (Hons) with specialisation in Smart Manufacturing & Automation is offered. BTech (Hons) degree in ECE is also available with specialisation in VLSI Design & Verification to aspirant earning additional credits specified by the university.
