B. Sc in Nautical Science is a 3-year undergraduate course which is split into 6 semesters. Each year consists of 2 semesters and contains a thoroughly practical approach to all the concepts of Nautical Technology.
Whereas, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Marine Engineering is a 4-year undergradu

Yes, you can pursue marine engineering after Diploma in mechanical. Candidates who have completed a Diploma in any stream of Engineering (Marine, Mechanical and Electrical) with 55-60% in final year can join the B.Tech. Yes, you can pursue Marine Engineering. You can also get lateral entry in most colleges. Try IMU-CET exam, It is India's prestigious Maritime University that provides many courses in Marine Technology and sciences.
