Yes, the MET syllabus is similar to the Class 10 and Class 12 qualifying/board examination. Since the entrance examination is prepared to assess the candidate's knowledge in Physics Chemistry Mathematics and English the topics to be studied will be the ones that the candidates have already studied in their Class 10 and Class 12 standard. Therefore, the candidates will also be able to simultaneously prepare for their Class 12 standard qualifying/board examination and MET.

Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Bengaluru admissions are entirelyy entrance-based. Except for a few courses, where candidates are selected through the merit obtained in their last qualifying exam, followed by PI or by qualifying for Department specific tets for the respective courses. Apart from that, for courses like BTech and many other courses. candidates must appear for Manipal Entrance Test (MET), followed by other selection rounds
