Manipal College of Dental Sciences under the MAHE Manipal offers courses at UG, PG and certificate levels in the Dental field. The college offers BDS at UG and MDS at PG levels. Admission to MCODS Manipal courses is entrance-based. However, the merit of the aspirants is considered in the last qualifying exam for admission to certificate courses.

Candidates need to complete BDS degree from an institution/ university recognised by the Dental Council of India for MDS scholarship. The award ofscholarship for the subsequent years is the same as given, at the time of admission in the first year. Scholarship is extended for the subsequent year only to those students who qualifies in the year-end examinations
as per NMC.
