Don't keep much hopes for mechanical. I really doubt if you will get mechanical. Last year mechanical cut off was around 4500.

I can't tell you about SRM but I can only tell you about the facilities in MIT. When it comes to mechanical, MIT is quite good. Manipal University has good reputation in placement however the placement rate in master program from industry is slightly less even in IITs due to high paid salary. However in academic you will find good job even in the campus with satisfactory package.

We do not have a management quota. There is NRI admissions but you need to be an NRI or a sponsored NRI for that. The forms for that are available on the Manipal University site.
