First of all, MSME is lowest branch. So, you need a good CGPA in first year for branch upgradation (about 9 CGPA). So, you need to focus from first day.

See, it depends on the branch. This year, in special round I got ECE with marks 140. But you try to score more to get cs or other branch in normal rounds.

Yes, you should be then from SC category. With OBC, you can get the lowest branch. But with general forget about it.
