There's nothing that wouldn't allow you to. Also, computer science is quite an engaging option. If you are passionate about programming, you should really consider it.

As per my knowledge, there is no department in NIT-K that offers marine engineering as an undergrad course. I have no idea about PG courses.

Hi Ritvik,
A minimum 60% in 10+2 ( English and PCM) is required to be eligible for marine engineering. And these are the entrances you must take to pursue marine engineering-
AIEEE:All India Engineering Entrance Examination
MERI:Marine Engineering and Research Institute entrance exams
JEE: Joint Entra

We have our own selection process which comprises of an online test followed by an interview and psychometric test. Please contact admission team at 02114399500/17/08 for more details. It is safe to plan to visit our Lonavala campus on Friday 23rd June.

I can say that marks has nothing to do with your interest. If you are truly interested in marine engineering then choose a better college and pursue course in that college. If you had appeared for any engineering college entrance tests, then think of that.
