MASCOM Entrance Exam

The PG Diploma in Journalism course at Manorama School of Journalism will likely begin in the second week of July afterthe successful administration of online MASCOM entrance exam and online interview in June.

According to the official website of Manorama School of Journalism, MASCOM 2025 entrance exam will be conducted on June 8, 2025. Applications for the entrance exam will be open until May 31, 2025. Aspiring students can apply both online and offline. 

The online interview is conducted once the written test is over. Only those candidates who clear the online written exam are called for the interview stage of the selection procedure.

Since PG Diploma courses at Manorama School of Communication are full-time classroom type, no candidates with full-time jobs will be considered for admissions. Students who are enrolled in some other full-time course will also be not eligible to enrol.

The Manorama School of Communication does not specify a syllabus for entrance exam. However, they test potential students on their language skills and general awareness. It is advised that the applicants brush up their language skills, practice some competitive language questions like error detection, rearranging sentences, synonyms, antonyms, etc. and keep up with generic GA questions and current affairs. Having some knowledge of Journalism and Mass Communication is also helpful.

No, questions in the MASCOM Entrance Exam are only language-based and general awareness-based. You don't have to study quantitative aptitude to take the exam.

MASCOM Entrance Exam is an online test and is conducted in two sessions. Candidates get 2.5 hours to attempt 100 questions in first session and 2 hours 45 minutes to answer 100 questions in second session. Students preparing for MASCOM exam must practice sample papers to increase their speed.
