MASCOM Entrance Exam

The PG Diploma in Journalism course at Manorama School of Journalism will commence on July 11, 2025 following the online MASCOM Entrance Exam (on June 8, 2025) and the online interviews (on June 18, 19 and 20, 2025). 

According to the official website of Manorama School of Journalism, MASCOM 2025 entrance exam will be conducted on June 8, 2025. Applications for the entrance exam will be open until May 31, 2025. Aspiring students can apply both online and offline. 

The online interview is conducted once the written test is over. Only those candidates who clear the online written exam are called for the interview stage of the selection procedure.

Since PG Diploma courses at Manorama School of Communication are full-time classroom type, no candidates with full-time jobs will be considered for admissions. Students who are enrolled in some other full-time course will also be not eligible to enrol.

Yes, candidates will be given documents or reports to edit in the best journalistic way possible. There may be other descriptive or subjective questions in the language sections.

The Manorama School of Communication does not specify a syllabus for their entrance exam. However, it is known that they test potential students on their language skills and general awareness. It is advised that the applicants brush up their language skills, practice some competitive language questions like error detection, rearranging sentences, synonyms, antonyms, etc. and keep up with some generic GA questions and current affairs. Having some knowledge of Journalism and Mass Communication also comes in handy while taking the test. 

No, questions in the MASCOM Entrance Exam are only language-based and general awareness-based. You don't have to study quantitative aptitude to take the exam.

The MASCOM Entrance Exam is an online test that is conducted in two sessions. Candidates are given 2 hours and 30 minutes to attempt the 100 questions of the first session and 2 hours and 45 minutes to answer the 100 questions of the second session.
