Yes, it is a good choice and you can do MA from the same college. Some other good institutes in this field are –
1. IIMS (Indian Institute of Mass Communication), JNU New campus, New Delhi
2. Xavier's Institute of Communication, Mumbai
3. International School of Business and Media, Pune
4. Mudra Institute of Communication
5. Asian College of Journalism

It is a 10 months rigorous course. The classes are from 10 am to 8:30 pm sometimes. The course does not have any final exam so there are continuous projects. There are small sets of modules and each module may have about 2-3 projects. They are very particular about deadlines so do not try messing around with it.

PI: It will be about your extracurricular activities in school, your interests, hobbies and basically about yourself in general.
What: They are usually very generic, but thought provoking ones. Some examples would be - “Is the internet a boon or bane", "What impact has social media had on our lives?"

Both the colleges are good in their own way and specialisations such as –

Banasthali Vidyapeeth:
Banasthali is the largest residential university for women in the world. It has been ranked 52nd among top 100 universities in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (MHRD) in 2017.
