In order to apply for any course in FTII, you will need to appear for a Joint Entrance Test conducted by FTII and Satyajit Ray Insitute of Film and Television. You can see the details of this exam here:

1. Only a creative test will be conducted where they give you any random topic to see your ability and capability and how creative you can be.

Amity University, Mumbai is one of the best universities in India. The quality of knowledge and experience is great . The placement department is also very active and very supportive. you have a very different experience that you wont find any where else either if you are from different field they will guide you from basics and make sure you get the knowledge from the root for your better future.
I would suggest you to take admission in Amity, Mumbai.

A Bachelor Degree, in any stream, is sufficient for a Master Degree in Journalism and Mass Comm.
And for Distance Education, it shall be quite easy as well.
please confirm from the Malaysian institute about the validity and acceptance in India of the Bachelors degree you are doing.

To be a photographer, you need to join institute as Diploma or short-term courses to learn aspects of photography. Eligibility is 12th pass with any discipline. After completing, join under a known photographer to be a skilled photographer in the desired field.

BJ is Bachelor's in journalism where you'll be taught all about journalism only and BJMC is Bachelors in journalism and mass communication where it'll be a course related to both the subjects and BMM is Bachelor's in mass media where it's going to be all about media only and later on, you can specialize in a particular sector but also, these courses type differ from college to college.
