No, the counseling sessions are held on different days for all the programmes offered by Jamia Millia Islamia. Admission to all Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Post Graduate Diploma, Diploma and Certificate programs offered by the University is done through entrance test and counselling. University releases the subject-wise counselling schedule along with the result. To participate in the counselling, candidates have to reach the concerned department with all the required documents and admission fee. The seat is allotted to the candidate after the verification of documents and payment of the admission fee. Candidates must check the website of JMI from time to time to know the detailed schedule of counseling.

There are a couple of PGs and hostels. First is the girls hostel accommodation by the college itself which is around 1km from the college, the boys hostel is around 500m from the college. Considering PGs, there are 4-5 in the radius of 500m. Once is Enigma hostel, which is a boy PG but now is for both girls and boys. Then there is Covie coliving spaces and Stanza living. These are both for boys and girls. One boys PG is Your space. All these 4 PGs are close to each other, all 300 – 400m from the college. Ridhi Sidhi park is a girls PG, 500m from the college, Hives is another girls PG around 800m far. There are even flat options in the area.
