Event Management is an amazing career choice, if you are wiling to give up your holidays as most events take place during holidays, If you can work well in pressure as most of the demands by client or issues arise in the last minute and if you get an ultimate high when you complete the event successfully. For career choice, competition is pretty tough. Event Management companies are mushrooming a lot nowadays, so you have to sell something unique at a throw away price to attract the clients. Then a zillion man hours of slogging and running around getting things in order. Good contact with vendors associated with it (sounds, lights, decor, flower, props etc. ). Mostly, you will get a credit from the vendors if you are in good terms with them but that depends on how good your terms are with them. So, investment required is minimal but then if you don't get credit, the investment portion is pretty huge to bear.
