The entrance test has two components:
1) General Awareness: This section will test whether the applicants are up to date with the news (national, international, business, sports, etc.).
2) Language Proficiency: This section will evaluate the language proficiency (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and writing) of the applicants.

For answering your query, I went through the details of both the colleges and came to the conclusion that both the colleges are well-reputed colleges in this field. B.J. M. C. from Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies has it's own value and Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from IIJNM, Bangalore has it's own value. According to me, you should go for Amity University as it provides the best facilities. You will also get practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge. The study pattern is up to date with dual degree options.

There is no connect in between these courses. You can either pursue a specialized course which is a part of BJMC, or go for a degree course which has computer Science as majors.
