The eligibility criteria for admission to Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Acting and Feature Film Screenplay Writing is that the candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University. If you are asking for MA in Mass Communication from Distance learning, then it is really fine, because you already has been cleared bachelors. So, you can take admission in any master's program offer by any university or campus, but totally depend on your city or distance.

I would say both are different streams. You should first clear your thoughts regarding both the things. If your communication skills are good enough, then you can go for Mass Communication.
