Hi, So, you have to be a graduate in any subject (Bachelor in Mass media or BA in Mass communication more preferred), and then you have to apply for the various institutes. Usually, there will be an entrance test conducted.

Hi,
I will suggest that you must go for a government college or university. Admission process will start from December end and will continue till May. (Different college/universities). Some big names to do graduation in journalism are:
Banaras Hindu University
Aligarh Muslim University
Panjab University
Kurkshetra University
Delhi University and colleges under Delhi University. Read newspaper daily and keep an eye on the admission schedule of these universities.

Yes, you can pursue a Diploma or even UG degree in mass communication. The institutes offering a course in Journalism or Mass Communication conduct an entrance exam, on the basis of which, your admission will be based.
