There are plenty of jobs in this industry. In spite of the current global economic slowdown, the event management industry has continued to grow in leaps and bounds. There are plenty of events: weddings, birthday parties, talent hunt and reality shows, fashion and cultural shows, academic and sports meets, religious functions, corporate events, conferences and so on. The pay packet in this industry varies according to your role and responsibility. It also depends on factors such as the organisation you are working with, the type of clientele your organisation is catering to, your experience, the city where the firm is located

Hi,
Firstly, you have to be a good speaker and you should have knowledge about that particular task of which you want to go for anchoring, be it news, entertainment, politics, etc. and once you will be able to judge what is in you, you can go ahead and start without getting into any course. Still if you want to polish yourself then not much but yes you can opt for Diploma in news reading, anchoring and reporting.

You cannot get admission at the end of the year. You need to wait for the new session which most probably will commence around March, June or July.

Hello Mani, you can pursue MA in Journalism and Mass Communication through regular mode at any time after you have a graduation degree from any recognized university. So, all the best for your further studies. There are also great opportunities for the students of Journalism and Mass Communication.

IIMC does not offer any separate course for photography. However, photography is an integral part of almost all our courses. Almost all our students find reasonably good jobs after successful completion of the courses offered by the IIMC. Yet, I regret that I cannot give any guarantee for jobs to you or to anybody.
