MIT and Harvard are the top-ranked universities in the world. They are known for their quality education and excellent research opportunities. The STEM courses offered by MIT have been ranked amongst the best in the world and has been consistently placed under the top five or ten by top-ranking publishers. 

Whereas, IIT focuses more on offering foundational knowledge. IIT also encourages research but not all students opt for it.
