Both the countries are good. But, seeing the growing resentment among Australian against immigration, Canada is a better option, if you want to work there for some time after your studies.

Backlogs are generally not recommended. If you have, it depends entirely on the university that whether they will accept it or not. Write to the universities before applying.

It is good to have career plans and aspirations but the path you are following will lead you nowhere. Dentist - MBA - IT, how are they even related? Decide what you want to do and move ahead accordingly.
