CAT is national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by the IIMs. MAT is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by AIMA.
CAT is national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by one of the IIM on a rotational basis. Admission to IIMs is two stage process. The first stage is based on CAT score. Amity university is a average university, one can get easily admission in Amity. So, don't worry. Course fee is much higher. Placement is substandard. So, try for other better institutions and last option should be Amity.

Yes, you can definitely apply. If you want to opt for PGDM, your entrance examination score will be scaled down to 100 marks after which you will have a GD/PI process which consists of 100 marks and on the basis of your scores there will be a waiting list put up in the college after a few days.
