MAT exam is held for almost two-and-a-half hours. The test covers two hundred (200) questions in 150 minutes. The aspirant is tested in the following five areas: Indian and Global Environment, Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning. There are 40 questions in each section. Each question carries one mark, whereas, one/fourth mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

MAT -Management Aptitude Test by AIMA
CMAT-Common Management Admission Test by AICTE
SIMILARITY -
All three exams are the entrance exams that act as the medium for the admissions to the top MBA colleges of the country.
Their conducting bodies are different, they have their different accepting colleges.
MBA Admissions to top colleges across India requires the scores of CAT/MAT/CMAT also there are many other entrance exams like XAT/GMAT/NMAT/KMAT, etc.
Applicants have to apply differently to all of these exams.

Validity of the MAT score is for that particular session for most MIs/University is one year.
