Management Aptitude Test is the all India level entrance examination for admission to the MBA programme. This exam will be conducted in both offline and online mode. Build your schedule/time table in such a way that every subject will get equal attention. It is compulsory to focus all the subjects as the marks weightage allotted to every section is equal. Self-study is very important during the arriving days of the examination. Try to reserve most of your precious time for self-study. It helps you to score good marks. It is suggested to the candidates to practice mock papers or solve previous exam papers as many as possible in a short duration of time. This will increase your speed as well as improve your skills. Due to lengthy syllabus, students will not get the time for revision resulting in forgetting and omitting of important topics. Revision is very necessary so try to complete your syllabus before 2 or 3 days of the examination.

CMAT and MAT, these both exams are among the important management exams. But CMAT is bit tougher than MAT. These exams are almost the same but difficulty level is somehow different.
MAT exam includes Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Data Analysis, Mathematical Skills, etc. and CMAT includes Quantitative Techniques, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, etc.
There are many good institutes like NIT Warangal, Institute of Finance and International Management-Bangalore, etc. are also giving admission through MAT and institutes like JBIMS-Mumbai, Goa Institute of Management-Goa, K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management, etc. also give admission through CMAT.
So both the exams have similar contents, but CMAT is tougher than MAT.
So if one is preparing for CMAT then one can score well in MAT.

There are so many colleges which accept MAT score even if your percentage is less than 50% in graduation, however you need to score good percentile in entrance exam including PI/GD.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) and the scores are used for admission to various MBA, PGDM and other related programs.
MAT is held four times in a year.
There are many colleges that accept MAT scores in India.
It is divided into 5 sections and there will be 40 questions in each section.
The questions are from the following sections:
1. Language Comprehension
2. Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
3. Data Analysis and Sufficiency
4. Mathematical Skills
5. Indian and Global Environment
So, there will be 200 questions in all. The duration of MAT 2017 will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Marking Scheme:
You get 1 mark for a correct answer while there will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.
