Yes, you can apply for it. If you have any problem then you can try for MAT (May 2018). There is no difference.

Hello,
If they have clearly stated than one cannot appear for any other exam, then it is better to give only MAT. In case they really find out you giving any other exam too, they might debar you from giving MAT. So decide accordingly. SNAP is a much better exam than MAT as one has a wider variety while applying for more reputed B-schools like SIBM, SCMHRD, etc.

Hi,
I would suggest you give both the exams December and February. This is how you will have a chance to select from various colleges. Also, in whichever exam you score more you can consider that one.

It will depend on the score that you have achieved in MAT and on the list of colleges that recognise MAT score as a criteria for admissions into MBA.
It is always advisable to identify the top 10 MBA institutes and target them for seeking admissions
A lot of good MBA institutes also have their own open tests, you can even check on it and appear for the said tests as well.

MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year in February, May, September and December. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized university or equivalent recognized degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (I.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com, B.Tech, etc.) can also appear provisionally.
