A minimum score of 60 percentile is good enough for you to apply. Then you will be selected based on your performance in GD/PI session.

Hello Shivam, glad to know about your curiosity to study in another state, so I would like to say that, you should know about the PUMBA admission formalities. You will definitely get admission in PUMBA but if you want to study in MBA then the fee will be around is 2.4 lakhs and good amount of companies are there for placements but condition is that you have 3-year of experience in corporate field so decide in which field you want to take admission and then consider these things.

To pursue MBA, first, you need to score good marks in any one of MBA entrance exams like CAT /XAT/CMAT/SNAP/IIFT/TISS or any other similar exam. After appearing in the exam, you need to fill the college application form in which you want to take admission. IIMs directly take your CAT scores and generate a list. There are no explicit application forms for IIMs. Based on your score in the entrance exam and your SSC-HSC and graduation score and your work profile, the college will shortlist you for WAT-PI or GD-PI.

You will be applying through all India seats with your MAT score. Normally, the cut off is much higher.

CAT exam open doors for almost all top B-schools including IIMs, FMS DU, MDI, etc. The choice of good institutes to pursue MBA after MAT is very limited.

Hi Padmanabha,
Yes, there are two type of seats available in every management institutes.
1. NRI quota or management quota.
2. Based on entrance examination.
The NRI seats costs high, but admission through MAT exam will have regular fee.
