The top colleges provide admission within 300-600 marks but it depends on your competition and the level of the result which shows the demand of students for the same. So you have to score at least 350 or 400 to maximum 550-650 marks to get admission in the top colleges with the help of the MAT score.

Since, you are preparing for May MAT, which won't be of much use as most of the good college's will be done with admissions by then and what will left is going to be either average or below average. So, instead of doing this, I would suggest you to prepare for CAT, XAT, SNAP or CMAT.
