Hi,
If you opted for Mathematics subject in IIT JAM exam then yes, you should prepare for this subject. First step is to check the full syllabus of your subject and then understand the exam pattern. Mark the important topics, topics in which you are weak and topics that have more weight-age in the exam. This way you can easily concentrate on your studies by dividing topics into segments. Make sure to do revisions on a regular basis, make your proper study plan and follow it. No, there is no entrance exam for admission in the mentioned course. Admission is based on graduation percentage. Candidates who have studied B.Sc./ B.A.(Hons) in Mathematics/ B.Sc.(Hons) in any subject wit mathematics as elective subject / B.Sc. general with mathematics.

Yes, you can do. The eligibility criteria of M.Sc Mathematics (Hons) from LPU are as under. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) :- Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's degree (any discipline) (with Mathematics as a subject) or B.Tech or BE or B.Sc (Engineering) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU-NEST.

I can confidently tell you that B.Sc in Travel and tourism has more career opportunities than Mathematics.

The topmost institute in India offering Statistics is ISI Kolkata. Some Delhi University colleges like Hindu, LSR do offer Statistics as a course. St. Xavier's college also offers the same.
