Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. ) or B. S. is one of the most popular academic degree courses among the Science students after class 12th. With the advancements in the area of Science and technology, this programme has become a one of the highly studied degree course in the Institutions of India. After the completion of the B.Sc degree there are various options available for the Science students, they can go for master degree in Science I. e. M.Sc, go in a research area and can even look for professional job oriented courses. Just like an academic courses, students who have a B.Sc degree also have an excellent employment opportunities. Jobs for B.Sc graduates are not just restricted in the field of Science but also they can explore others areas like management, engineering, law etc. There are various opportunities available for the students after B.Sc. the students can go in a research field, in some colleges the students are recruited directly by the big organizations at a very good salary package, some professional B.Sc. courses like animation and IT open the door of animation and IT industry for the graduates, the other professional B.Sc. field also have vast career opportunities. Apart from the research jobs, students can also work or get jobs in Marketing, Business & Other technical fields. Science graduates also recruited in the bank sector to work as customer service executives. Students can also find employment in government sectors. Few competitive exams like UPSD (CSE), AFCAT, SSC CGL, Banks, Railways and state PCS are the best options available for B.Sc. PCM graduate. Apart from this M. One non maths student can join BBA programme as its is very good course which provides you with more leverage in corporate sector. Recently one of my cousin with non maths background took admission in IPS business school, Jaipur which is the best place for BBA students as they groom 12 th passout so well that they become corporate fit after the period of 3 years, IPS business school works on subjective teaching in classroom as well as believes in make student learn through working in corporate for short term internships on regular basis throughout the period of 3 years of their course, they also polish students by regular soft skills, communication classes which make students very confident enough to face the world and here fees structure is also very economical.

Yes. The SSCBS entrance test is open for both maths and non-maths students.
But being from a maths background is preferable as the entrance test requires decent knowledge of maths upto class 12. The reason for this is that the subjects studied under the courses BBS and BFIA require the understanding of maths topics of class 11 and 12, such as integration, differentiation, set theory, AP and GP, etc. at various stages. So, to avoid any problems in studies that a non-maths student might face, the college keeps the difficulty level of the mathematics section a little high in the entrance test, rather than desisting anybody from taking the test.
But yes, if you have a learning attitude and are ready to put in some extra effort into your preparation, then maths won't be a barrier on the road to SSCBS.
Edit: This answer was written before the University of Delhi had stated its guidelines for the 2015 batch. For the entrance of 2015, maths was a compulsory subject for admission in SSCBS and other colleges offering BMS and BBA(FIA) courses.
