To be eligible to get admission to the MBA course at NIT Jalandhar, students are required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for the course. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree of three-year duration from a recognised institute/ university with a minimum of 60% aggregate or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) are eligible to apply for the course. The students appearing for the final year of their bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification or awaiting results are also eligible to apply.

It is crucial that the aspirants meet the course-specific eligibility criteria as prescribed by the university. Aspirants who have passed a bachelor's degree course from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate are eligible to apply. The candidates with a UG degree in any stream are eligible to apply. However, for some of the MBA specialisations, a bachelor's degree in Engineering can be required by the university. The eligible candidates can further proceed with the application formalities.
