GAPS are a problem during admission in a B School or during the placement only if the gaps cannot be justified means you don't have a valid view point to support it. But, if have a reason to justify your cause for taking a 2 years gap it's not a problem. Trust me, I speak from my personal experience.

Hello, To appear in the UGC NET the minimum qualification required to appear is Masters degree with minimum 55% of marks then only you can apply for the UGC NET Exam. If you have completed your MBA from the IT stream then, you can apply for UGC NET Computer Application The National Eligibility Test is conducted for 81 subjects. The exam is organized twice a year by NTA in June and December Months. Recently the exam was held from 20th to 28th June 2019. The upcoming exam will be held in Dec 2019. Normally they give more preference students done internship with them with good a good performance report. No cut off %
Year gaps are considered as negative for placements.

 You can pursue MBA based on work experience. You will need to have few years of experience in the industry and then their are Colleges in India which provide MBA based on experience. That will help you.
