No, for admissions to MBA at AIMS Institutes, it is not compulsory to have appeared for the CAT exam. As per the official website, the institute accepts scores obtained in various exams, including PGCET, MAT, XAT, and ATMA and CAT. Thus, students aspiring to take admission must have appeared for any one of the aforementioned exams.

For admission to the MBA course, AIMS Institutes accepted various entrance test scores, including MAT scores. Candidates aspiring for admission could appear for the MAT 2025 exam. As per official sources, the 2025 session of the MAT exam was held on 31 May 2025 for the Paper-Based Test (PBT) and 8 June 2025 for the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Yes, anyone can join NMITD Mumbai if they meet the eligibility and follow the selection criteria, without taking the CAT. The one thing is that you only need to qualify in any of the entrance exams mentioned in the selection criteria and achieve a qualified rank. NMITD Mumbai admission process is entrance based, and candidates can check the accepted entrance exams on the official website of NMITD.

Yes, it is mandatory to clear the SNAP GE-PI-WAT round for admission. Candidates planning to pursue full-time MBA from SIU institutes must know that they need not only good score in SNAP exam but also in the GE-PI-WAT round. The GE-PI-WAT round is conducted a month after the announcement of SNAP result. Those who make it to the PI shortlist need are invited for GE-PI-WAT round. If a candidate does not attend it, they are disqualified from admission.

Minimum academic score required in graduation for MBA admission through SNAP is 50% for General category students and 45 % for SC/ST/PwD category students. It is a mandatory criterion so if you do not have this much score, you will not be selected for admission even if you meet SNAP cut off.

Most of the MBA colleges that accept MAT score for admission have academic eligibility criteria in line with AICTE guidelines for PG courses. Candidate must have a minimum score of 50 % marks in graduation or equivalent from UGC recognised university. For SC/ST/PwD candidates the minimum score requirement is 45% marks or equivalent.

Yes, it is mandatory to appear for GD/PI or the selection round for MBA admission through MAT. The entrance exam score is only one of the criteria of candidate selection. It doesn't ensure admission. The candidates are selected on the basis of their MAT score, academic record, and performance in the GD/PI round.

For MAT counselling or selection process, candidates will require MAT scorecard, Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet, Graduation marksheet/certificate, work experience certificate, birth certificate, valid photo ID, category certificate.

SNAP percentile means a candidate's rank against all test takers. It is calculated on the basis of marks scored. For example, total marks in SNAP is 60, so any candidate getting the highest score out of 60 will get 99.99 percentile. Many a times, more than one candidates get highest score so their percentiles are same.
