Yes, candidates can get admissions to MBA courses at  DYPDPU SMR without CAT scores because the college accepts several entrance examinations for admissions to MBA courses, such as MAT/ CMAT/ MAH-CET/ XAT/ ATMA. Therefore, candidates can get admissions to MBA courses at DYPDPU SMR with CAT. However, it is not compulsory to get admissions and achieve valid scores in CAT only.

"Tough" isn't quite the right word; "tricky" is more accurate. The Decision Making questions are unique because they don't have a single, formula-based right answer. They present you with complex business and ethical dilemmas where all the options seem very close.

The real challenge is to pick the most logical and ethical course of action, which tests your managerial judgment under pressure. Excelling here is a huge advantage, as it demonstrates the exact kind of practical mindset that top B-schools like GIBS highly value in their future leaders. It's a direct test of your management potential.

Absolutely! In the final week, it's less about learning new topics and all about perfecting your strategy.

Solving past XAT papers is the best way to get into the "exam zone." It helps you master time management, build stamina for the full duration, and get comfortable with the unique Decision Making section. Think of it as the final dress rehearsal. This kind of focused preparation is exactly what helps successful candidates crack the exam and secure admission into top B-schools like GIBS. It's the key to turning your knowledge into a great score.

G.H. Raisoni School of Business Management, while MAT is definitely accepted, you can get in without it! They consider scores from other national-level entrance exams too, like CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, or MAH MBA CET. Sometimes, direct admissions might happen based on your graduation marks and a personal interview, especially for Institute Level Quota seats.

Candidates can select up to 21 IIMs in CAT application form for PI shortlist and admission. There is no cap on selecting campuses. Candidates must however, make an informed choice but first checking CAT cut off, course specialisation and fee of all IIMs and basis that select campuses in the CAT application form. It is best to choose a combination of top IIMs and newer IIMs so that you have wider options for admission.

Unlike other MBA entrance exams such as SNAP and XAT, there is no extra charge for selecting IIMs in the CAT application form. For overall CAT application form you will need to pay only INR 2500 (INR 1250 for SC/ST/PWD candidates). You can select as many IIM campuses, and courses as you want to.
