XIMB Bhubaneswar provides admission to the MBA course, on the basis of CAT and XAT exams. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff percentile was closed at 91 for admission via CAT.

XIMB Bhubaneswar considers CAT exams for admission to the MBA course. The cutoff was released for the last round, in which the closing percentile for 91, for the General AI category candidates. 

XIMB MBA cutoff in 2023 and 2022 were 91, for the General AI category candidates. This indicated that the cutoff for admission to MBA has been constant throughout three years.

XIMB Bhubaneswar cut off 2024 has been concluded for admission to the MBA course. The cutoff was released on the basis of candidates performance in the CAT/XAT exams. The cutoff percentile for admission to the college through CAT was 91, among the General AI category candidates. For admission through XAT exam, the closing percentile in the last round among the General AI category was 80

CAT is a computer based test (CBT), which has 3 sections:

  • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
  • Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
  • Quantitative Ability (QA)

Plus, each section has specific time limit and candidates cannot witch between sections during the allotted time. The questions in CAT are MCQ and non-MCQ (Type in the Answer ot TITA).

The total duration for exam is 120 minutes, with 40 minutes alloted to each section and the total number of questions are 68 which is subject to vary. 

Marking scheme:

  • +3 for correct answer
  • -1 for each incorrect answer
  • no negative marking for TITA questions

AIMS Bangalore cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the MBA course. The cutoff was released on the basis of CAT percentiles. The cutoff was closed at 60, for the General All India category candidates. Therefore, it is not possible to get admisison to the college at 50 percentile.

No, it is not possible to get admission to AIMS Bangalore through CAT at 50 percentile in CAT. The last round closing percentile for the General AI category candidates was 60. The cutoff in 2023 and 2022, was 60. Therefore, the trend for cutoff has been constant through the years. The institute also accepts XAT and MAT for admissons to the college.

No, CAT is not compulsory for MBA admission at Chandigarh University. While CAT scores are accepted, candidates can also apply with scores from other national entrance exams like MAT, CMAT, ATMA, or XAT. Yes, SIMC admits students on the basis of SNAP scores for the MBA course. Applicants who desire to take the MBA course are required to take SNAP and secure a good score in order to be shortlisted for subsequent rounds of selection. Admission for the MA course is not through SNAP but has its own entrance procedure based on the course.

The previous Digital Technology Management Institute of Adani known today as Adani University accepts MAT performance scores during its management programme admissions process.
