XAT 2025 exam had only 2 sections in the question paper, Part 1 had Quantitative Aptitude, Decision Making and Verbal Ability. Part 2 consisted of General Knowledge section. Essay Writing has been removed from the entrance test. It is a part of XLRI PI selection process. The total time duration of XAT exam now is 180 minutes. Part 1 is for170 minutes and Part 2 is for 10 minutes. There is no sectional time limit within the section.
XAT 2024 had Essay Writing and the exam duration was 3.5 hours. Essay Writing was clubbed with GK.

XAT 2025 exam was of moderate difficulty level. The students who had appeared for the exam last year, said the XAT 2025 question paper was not much different. Section wise, Quantitative Aptitude questions were on the tougher side, Verbal Ability and Decision Making were easy to moderate and GK was easy.
There was one poem for RC as always. Quantitative Aptitude section was dominated by Arithmetic and GK had questions on very recent events.

Yes, you can get admission to a college if you score well in the CAT even if your academic score is low. Many Schools consider other factors in addition to CAT scores, such as academic profile, extracurricular activities, and personal traits. The minimum cutoff for admission to IIMs and top b schools may consider CAT score between 80-90 percentile.

Another option for those scoring low in CAT exam is applying to non-IIM. Many B-Schools like SPJIMR, IIM DELHI, lal bahadur sastri institute of management accept CAT score between 80-90 percentile. these institutes rank above some of the IIM in the NIRF - MHRF's ranking list.

Yes, AIT in Bengaluru accepts MAT scores and offers an opportunity to students, which covers around 50 per cent management quota admissions in addition to those with MAT, CMAT, or KMAT, while the balance 50% is from those who take Post Graduate Common Entrance Test by the Karnataka Examinations Authority or KEA. A bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) is a must for being eligible.

The admission to the PGP course offered by MET Institute of Software Development and Research does not need candidates to crack the CAT exam, rather there is a separate test called MET Online Test. MET Institute of Software Development and Research admission is entrance-based for courses offered at PG levels. Some of the popular exams accepted by the institution for admission are MET Online Test, etc.. The institution offers 1 course to the students in the streams of Data Science and Machine Learning.

GNIOT CAT cutoff 2024 is yet to be released. However, in 2023, MBA cutoff for the unreserved category stood at 25. Over the period of three years, the CAT cutoff remained constant. Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out CAT percentile till 2023:

Yes, you can get into North East Frontier Technical University in Arunachal Pradesh. The university also considers scores from national and state level entrance exams. But you can also take the NEFTU Entrance Exam, University Entrance Test only for safe side.
