No, CAT score is not needed for admission to MBA programme. Aspirants can apply through a valid score of either state-level TANCET or national-level MAT entrance exam. Candidates need to submit their score card at the time of admission.

Yes, SNAP can be considered easier than all other MBA entrance exams but one needs to still prepare for it with complete dedication. The SNAP may be considered easier as it is a 60-minute exam and the number of questions is also 60. The English section does not have RC passages and QA-DI are easy. Moreover, one can attempt it thrice in the same academic session and use the best score of all attempts to seek admission.

Sectional CAT percentile cut-offs for admission to the MBA programme at MATS University are a minimum of 40 per section, which includes Quantitative Ability (Quants), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VA-RC), and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DI-LR). The same has been followed for the years 2022, 2023, and 2024, along with an overall cut-off of 70 percentile in the General-All India category. Achieving these cut-offs at the sectional level is necessary for aspirants to become eligible for the next rounds of selection, including the WAT-PI round.

The general CAT percentile cut-off for MBA admission at MATS University has been the same at 70 for the General-All India category for the years 2022, 2023, and 2024. The cut-off represents the institution's uniform eligibility standard for its MBA course to ensure that the applicants demonstrate a comparable level of aptitude in the Common Admission Test (CAT) to gain admission.
