You can apply as there is 70% chance of getting selected depending on the number of students appearing in the GD/PI.
Best of Luck.

If you are aiming for IIMs then for general category the cutoff is around 98 percentile. Other good colleges for PGDM are IFMR, GLIM and KJ Somaiya. CAT has quantitative, grammatical and logical reasoning. Difficulty level is high in any 1-2 sections of the paper.

You can go for Alliance University or Tier-3 colleges. It would be better to reappear for the exams then going for ordinary colleges.

Hello Sanjay,
You have good academic scores but CAT score is somewhat lower. It's difficult to get into good institute with this score. I would advise you to reappear for CAT and give yourself a better chance.

Hello Ranjana,
The mark required for CMAT is 200. Moreover, weightage will also be given for the academics and for your performance in GD and PI. Thus a composite score is given. So prepare well for the GD.
Thank you.

CAT is highly competitive. Anybody with a plan and hard work can clear CAT to do MBA in IIMs. First, you must do your strength and weakness analysis. Based on this you can plan requirements of coaching or external support to crack CAT.
All the best.
