Dear Vaishnavi,
Best of your entrance score is considered in CAP rounds for admission, suppose if you have given 2-3 entrance exams then best of those will be considered.
so in your case best of CAT or MAH-CET will be considered score of one exam won't make any impact on other.
good luck

Dear bharath Kumar. choosing place is not a question mark. first check with your score in both cities which colleges will give seat you. comparatively based on that choose the best college. at ahmedabad there are colleges like Nirma institutes etc are there. at pune also symbiosis, balaji group, university of pune etc colleges are there. apply both sides. get best college for your score. all the best.

Dear Shivani,
congratulations,
Very few government colleges accepts MAT score , all such colleges are in Maharashtra they do accepts mat score but for that you need to fill MAH-MMS CET form and last day for this year was 23rd Feb.2016, that clearly means now you can't get in govt. college, my suggestion is to look for other colleges or if you wish to pursue from government college only then prepare for CAT, because most of govt colleges accepts CAT.
Good luck
