It depends upon your caliber and ability to grasp concepts. If you are a quick learner, 2-3 hours a day would suffice. If you take time to grasp things, give in 4-5 hours. Start with a target. See how much time you take to understand things, then adjust your time accordingly.

CAT and GMAT both contain Quant and verbal sections; cat has logical reasoning and data interpretation as an extra section. Although GMAT has data interpretation in form of Integrated reasoning (IR) section, score of this section is not counted in the total score but provided separately. Quant of Gmat is easier than Cat. Verbal of GMAT and cat too differs. So books for both differs.

The admission depends upon your profile. I have seen engineers being rejected at 99 percentile and commerce students being selected at 95-96 percentile because of the profiles. In short, try to score the maximum and develop a strong profile.

Hello,
You can try by your score but their is very less chance of getting admission through MAY MAT. If they have few seats left than only you can get admission here.

Yes you can apply through cap rounds but only for all india seats. Check the percentage of all india seats on dte website. The chances are critical due to limitation of seats in that category.

For scholarship you need to check the college. As it depends not only on score but other factors too.

You can get admission for MBA only if you score good percentile. Or else you can give other entrance exams like MAT/XAT/SNAP/CMAT.
