The NMAT exam is conducted by GMAC. It has mainly 3 components: Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning. There are a total of 108 questions that the candidate needs to answer in 120 minutes. There is no negative marking in the exam.

The registration fee for NMAT test is charged by GMAC. This amounts to INR 3000 per attempt. After the candidate has registered for NMAT test, he/she needs to register at NMIMS and fill up the registration form online. The NMIMS MBA registration fee is INR 2900.

The NMAT score is given a weightage of 10% in the preparation of the merit list. The competency assessment test is given the highest weightage at 60%. The scores of the Work Experience and Personal Interview are given a weightage of 15% each for the selection of the candidate in the final merit list.

Yes, CAT is a compulsory entrance exam for all candidates who are a resident of India to qualify for PGPM admissions at IIM Shillong. For NRI candidates, the GMAT is the mandatory entrance exam to qualify for IIM Shillong PGPM admissions. Candidates also need to fulfill the eligibilty criteria for PGPM admissions to apply for IIM Shillong admissions.

The CAT cutoff for IIM Shillong PGPM admissions 2026 ranges from 50 - 75%. The general and EWS category candidates are required to score at least 75% in CAT exam to qualify for the PI round for IIM Shillong admissions.

The SC category is required to score 60% while the remaining categories are only required to score 50% in the CAT 2026 to qualify.

Yes, students can get into IIM Ahmedabad without appearing for CAT. However, this is applicable for courses other than flagship PGP/ MBA programme. Students seeking to join programmes, such as the BPGP or executive programmes. For those courses, students need valid scores of other accepted exams.

The process to download MICAT 2 admit card remains similar to the process that was used for MICAT 1 admit card download. Candidates need to visit MICA website and click link reading download MICAT admit card. Candidates are directed to MICAT admit card login page there they are required to enter login credentials and complete the captcha verification for MICAT admit card download.
