The cap round will be conducted on 4 and 5th of August. Candidates must have to score minimum of 50% marks in the entrance exam to qualify the test and will be eligible for admission. There's no cutoff as such at DOMS IIT Madras. The department calculates a composite score based on your profile and CAT score. Based on the composite score, people get calls for interview. After the interview, interview marks will be added to the composite score and then admissions are given to the candidates in descending order of the final scores. The weightage of various components in your profile, CAT score and interview marks will not be revealed.
