As your question already states, you have a low CAT score and NMIMS is currently considering its own NMAT score for admissions. If your CAT score is low and you want to get admission in NMIMS I will suggest you to apply for NMIMS test and target a score of 210 or plus for admission in NMIMS.

Most of the colleges accept GMAT and some of them accept CAT. There is no prominent exam as these two.
