CMAT cut offs are determined by the score accepting colleges individually. The colleges determine admission cut offs on the basis of certain parameters such as:

·       CMAT result trend and exam difficulty level

·       Previous years' CMAT cut offs for their college

·       Number of exam test takers

·       College ranking

·       Overall pass percentage and scoring trend in CMAT of that particular year

NTA has no role in CMAT counselling. NTA only conducts the CMAT exam on behalf of AICTE. Post result declaration, NTA is not involved in any activity related to CMAT. Since CMAT is an exam conducted by a government authority, any institution is free to use it as a parameter to select candidates for admission. Over 1300 government, government aided and private MBA colleges accept CMAT score for admission but they conduct admission process individually without NTA intervention.

IIPS Indore neither takes CMAT scores directly into account for admission nor does it conduct admission on that basis. It offers admission via MP MBA counselling on state-level rankings, largely based on DAVV CET. For the OBC quota, the rank that closed in Round 1 was around 240 in previous years. Your 83 percentile in CMAT is good but will not affect admission directly. Concentrate on DAVV CET and getting a high rank in MP counselling. With OB

SNAP is an easy exam so it is not necessary to spend long hours studying for it. However, one should ensure they spend quality time on SNAP preparation. If one is preparing for CAT along with SNAP, then they don't need to spend more than 2 hours on SNAP separately. If one is preparing for only SNAP, then they must spend 4-5 hours daily on an average.

CAT is one of the accepting exams for admission at Prin. N.G. Naralkar Institute of Career Development and Research. However, it is not compulsory to have a CAT score for a seat in the institute. Aspirants with a score in MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA or MAH MBA CET can also get admission through CAP Counselling rounds. Candidates must score equal or above the NICDR Pune cutoff for admission in the institute.

Candidates who pursued a 5-year Integrated course after 12th and are applying for XAT exam, can mention their undergraduate and postgraduate scores in the columns specified for the same in the XAT application form. For such candidates too, the minimum academic qualification remains the same.
