Yes, UPRTOU MBA degree is valid. The courses offered by UPRTOU are recognised by the joint committee of University Grants Commission (UGC)-All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and DEC. The degree provided on completion of the programme makes a candidate eligible for various private as well as government sector jobs. No, to be able to participate in the selection process for MBA at Ahmedabad University, students have to appear for any one entrance exam such as NMAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, or GRE. After appearing in the exam, students are then required to participate in the PI round (personal interview) and a WAT. The final selection is done considering the general evaluation of a candidate's performance in these assessments, their academic record, and the activities carried out outside of class. This means entrance exam scores form a significant portion of the process of selecting candidates.

Students should have passed Class 10 and 12 or have a diploma, and a bachelor's degree with at least 55 percent marks or equal CGPA. Candidates are then eligible to apply for the online application form and have to sit in any of the entrance exams accepted by the university, such as XAT, NMAT, CAT , CMAT, and GRE.
