Technically yes, you can get into Xavier Institute of Management and Research for pursuing MBA course without the MAT exam. But, you will have to appear for one of the other entrance exams to be eligible for admission. For admission into the same, students need to have good scores in the MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, and MAH CET.

Important dates for MBA/PGDM admissions at Mangalore University comprise the last date for application towards KMAT application form for Session 2, which is November 10, 2024; Karnataka PGCET options entry started and will go on till November 11, 2024. Karnataka PGCET mock seat allotment results will be released on November 11 followed by the option to edit options mid-November; the first round of allotment results are expected in the last week of November.

There are a total of 1454 seats in affiliated institutes and among these the names include St. Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology that holds 240 seats, Saroj Educational Group with 300 seats, Srinivas Institute of Management Studies holding 120 seats, and A.J. Institute of Management with 180 seats.

The total seat intake for Ahmedabad University MBA course is 150. To secure a seat at Ahmedabad University for MBA course candidate need to  pass Graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate in the respective subjects. The university accepts admission based on scores of candidates in any one of the entrance exams such as CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ SNAP/ GRE. The final selection is done based on the performance of candidates in the Written Assessment Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds, which are conducted by the university itself.
