In total, 210 seats are available for the MBA course. TIU offers admission to 60 seats. For 120 seats, ASMI Business School – Techno India University conducts admissions. The remaining 30 seats are available with the School of Future, Techno India University.

Admissions to OU MBA are done through the TG ICET exam, although some colleges do accept scores from other national-level entrance exams for management. The application for TG ICET 2026 is: INR 750/- for General category and INR 550/- in case of SC/ST and Differently Abled candidates. Exceeding the deadline for registration fee payment usually comes with an additional charge of INR 250/-.

Yes, Osmania University's Department of Business Management (DBM) and its constituent colleges have an active placement cell that organizes campus recruitment drives for MBA students. The OU placement drive for the MBA batch of academic year 2024-25 saw students getting offers from Federal Bank, HDFC, Deloitte, Code Young, ICICI etc. The highest offer was INR 16 LPA at the Federal Bank.
