At the time of filling out the application form and admission confirmation for the MBA course at MIT College of Management, candidates are required to submit certain documents. The names of some of the documents are as follows:
- Class 10 & 12 mark sheet
- Leaving/ Transfer certificate
- Migration certificate—all candidates other than Maharashtra State Board
- Birth Certificate/ Domicile Certificate/ Nationality Certificate
- Caste Certificate, in case of reserved category candidates
- Caste validity Certificate, in case of reserved category candidates
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for reserved category candidates other than SC and ST, valid up to 31st

Candidates need to complete graduation with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised university in any stream with English as the medium of instruction to be eligible for MBA at IBS Dehradun. The selection criteria are entrance-based. Students must either appear for the IBSAT exam or provide scores obtained in other accepted tests, such as CAT / XAT / NMAT / GMAT. The final selection is made on the basis of the micro-presentation and PI round performances.
