In order to get an MBA seat at UBS Chandigarh, students have to go through a thoroughly designed selection process. At first, they must meet the set CAT cutoff to be shortlisted for further rounds. If shortlisted, they are required to appear for the GD process. If cleared the GD round, they must participate in the PI process.

The total number of seats available for an MBA at AISECT University is 60. Candidates are admitted as per the sanctioned seat intake and scores in AJEE. It may follow the rules of reservation as prescribed by the state or central government. The mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. UBS Chandigarh offers various specialised MBA courses. Amongst all, the institute has maximum seats for its MBA course - 75 seats. These seats are allocated based on various factors, such as academic profile, CAT scores, performance in GD, and performance in PI. For admission to UBS Chandigarh MBA courses, students are required to register and apply with a valid CAT score. Thus, students must appear for the CAT examinations. For the 2025-2027 session, the institute accepts the CAT 2024 scores. As per official sources, the exam results for the 2024 session were announced on 19 Dec, 2024.

Once UBS Chandigarh closes the application window, the admissions committee begins with the selection process. Firstly, the committee screens all the applications. After screening, students with good academic backgrounds and CAT scores are shortlisted. In the next step, the institute conducts GD & PI rounds. Those who are allocated a seat after these rounds must pay the admission fees to confirm their admission.
