Yes, candidates can get into both the universities through the MAHCET entrance exam. Candidates who wish to apply for admission into any MBA programme in Maharashtra can do so through this exam. They will take your quick aptitude test or an entrance test which is not too difficult and therefore you can take admission in these universities because other universities require CAT or GMAT.

The CAT exam has no restrictions regarding your eligibility to participate. A gap year between your 2nd and 3rd year of graduation does not impact eligibility for the CAT exam. The CAT eligibility requirements are satisfied if either you have finished your degree or are studying in your last year of graduation. Always positively explain the gap year period to interviewers.
