Yes, you need to qualify national management entrance exam if you want to pursue MBA from a reputed B-school.

You need to appear for CMAT, CAT or MH-CET exam and get a good score in any of the above-mentioned exams to get shortlisted for GD-PI round.

PGDM and MBA are very similar the only difference is that PGDM is awarded by a college approved by AICTE, whereas, MBA is awarded by a university recognised by UGC.
MMS is offered by Mumbai University and is equivalent to MBA.

Amity University, Mumbai will be a better choice among the two. However, I would suggest, you should try for a better college depending on your scores in the management entrance exams.
